Donate from Giving Tuesday, Tue 30th November to Tue 7th December and your donation will be match-funded thanks to our generous Pledgers and Big Give Champions.

That means your donation will be doubled this Christmas.

Why We Need Your Help

Afghanistan Appeal 2021

We’re currently supporting more than five hundred men, women and children that have escaped the recent violence in Afghanistan.

We’re also supporting 25 Afghan families that are permanently settling here in Berkshire, providing them with advice, support and social activities to help them adjust to their new home.

We’re supporting around 500 Afghan men, women and children being housed in hotels locally with no support. We’re providing them with mental health support, creative writing workshops, social activities, one-to-one Befriending and welcome packs  to help as much as we’re able.

Your donations will help us to continue delivering this support that is desperately needed this Christmas.

The money we raise from The Big will go straight to funding two vital services:

Our Advice Service

We are raising money to fund our Advice Service that provides free, confidential legal advice and practical support for refugees and asylum seekers in Berkshire. Demand for Advice and mental health support has increased dramatically as we are now supporting hundreds of families from Afghanistan.

We are aiming to raise £8,000 to fund this service for at least four months.

Our Drop In Service

We are raising money to fund our Drop In Service that provides a safe space, social interaction, English lessons, access to a Caseworker and much more for refugees and asylum seekers in Berkshire. Demand for our Drop Ins has rocketed as we are now supporting hundreds of families from Afghanistan.

We are aiming to raise £4,500 to fund this service for at least three months.

One donation, twice the impact.

Double Your Impact

Your donations will be double during The Christmas Challenge thanks to The Big Give, Monday Charitable Trust and some generous supporters!

That means one donation does twice the good.

£15 pays for around 60 mins of support, enough time to talk to someone in crisis

£30 pays for 2 hours of support, enough to properly support a person in crisis.

£100 pays for a whole day of support, enough to help support multiple people in need

We’re so pleased to be taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge again

Last year, we raised an incredible £8,200 in just four days, which helped to fund advice and support for at least 300 refugee families and individuals in Berkshire.

This year we’re aiming to raise £12,500 and we need your help to do it!

It’s easy to be twice as nice this Christmas with The Big Give’s Christmas Challenge.
