Mondays – Virtual Monday Drop In – Closed

We are pleased to announce that our in person Monday Drop Ins have re-opened, so we have paused our Online Monday Drop Ins.

Click here to find out more about our Monday Drop Ins and how to attend.

Tuesdays – Lockdown Drama Group (Adults) – 4pm-5pm

We are having fun reading plays and learning voice projection and physical acting skills to help build confidence and communication. There are some great plays out there and we think that there is plenty of common ground in the scripts that we have found.

If you would like to take part, please email Jude at jude@rrsg.org.uk and she will send you weekly reminders and invites.

Wednesdays – Wellbeing Wednesday Drop In – 10:30am-11:30am

Welcome to our Wellbeing Wednesday Drop In. We are open between 10.30am and 11.30am.

We have been running these sessions since March and they have again been really popular. Our Wednesday session has a focus on mental and physical wellbeing.

We have been taking virtual tours of a local farm, and learning how to grow simple salad and vegetables at home. We have also been learning how to practise mindfulness, meditation and yoga in a relaxed setting.

Join the session when it’s running by clicking the link below:

If you would like to take part, please email Jude at jude@rrsg.org.uk and she will send you weekly reminders and invites.

Thursdays – Lockdown Drama Group (Juniors) – 4pm-5pm

In the absence of homework club we really hope more of the families with children will sign up to drama games and fun. A great way to develop language skills, be brave and try new things!

If you would like to take part, please email Jude at jude@rrsg.org.uk and she will send you weekly reminders and invites.

Various Days – One-to-One English Classes

Our One-to-One English Classes pair up volunteer tutors and refugees for informal, weekly English language sessions. The classes are currently being held online using Zoom and Skype.

The English classes help refugees to improve their English skills, building their confidence, encouraging integration and increasing employability. The classes also help to reduce loneliness and isolation, while improving mental health.

If you want to learn English through these classes, please email Hadil at hadil@rrsg.org.uk and she will help get you started.
