Familiy & Friends

If you don’t want anything for your birthday, ask your loved ones to donate to RRSG. Facebook makes this really easy.

You could hold a dinner party, coffee morning or cocktail night with friends or family and ask for donations.

At Your Work

Organise a coffee morning (with cake!) at work and ask your colleagues to donate.

Use your volunteer day at work to organise a fundraiser – we had one company use exercise bikes to ride the distance from Syria to England!

Challenge Yourself

Dust off your trainers and sign up to a challenge event or race – we’ve had people run marathons, jump out of planes, take on Tough Mudder, and even cycle 900 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats!

Organise An Event

Arranging a pub quiz is easier than you think, and a really fun way to raise money with your mates or colleagues.

You could channel Mary Berry and organise a bake sale to raise money.

At School

Get your local school to organise a Non-uniform Day and ask every one that takes part to donate.

Seasonal Ideas

Organise an event for Refugee Week to raise money.

Ask for sponsorship to give something up for lent.

Do something for Christmas – you could wrap presents, sing carols, do an alternative secret santa, or sell mince pies.
