Merry has led a nomadic life, with Reading finally providing her longest stay in one place, as she settled here just over 20 years ago. Merry is retired, having had many jobs in her lifetime. These include teaching, consultancy and training, acting and volunteering in Kenya with disabled children.

RRSG was started by Volunteers in 1994 and Volunteers have been an integral part of RRSG ever since.

Our wonderful Volunteers were recently acknowledged with The Queen's Award For Voluntary Services, the MBE for Voluntary Organisations.
